What's Train the Painter?
Train the painter is the world's leading industry recognised and fully accredited Industrial Coating Applicator Training program.
The training has been developed by paint industry experts at Corrodere Academy in response to the strong demand for certification within the industrial coatings industry that now requires personnel working within the road, rail, renewables and oil and gas industries to obtain professional specified certificates.
Painter and Blaster Courses
Train the Painter has three core modules including;
Delegates will be awarded with either an Orange, Bronze, Silver or Gold card depending on the modules completed and experience already gained in the protective coatings industry.
PAINTING BLASTING COURSE
Course Overview
Train The Painter Silver combines two out of three core modules from the Train The Painter programme approved by Lloyds Register.
The course is a combination of theoretical and practical sessions. Delegates will be assessed throughout the practical exercises and complete a multiple choice test for each module.
A TTP Silver card will be awarded upon successful completion of the practical exercises and multiple choice tests.

Prerequisites
In order to attend and complete the Train the Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator (Silver) modules delegates must;
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a minimum of 1600 hours proven experience
Career Path
Route to TTP Bronze card - You must complete the Protective Coatings Applicator training.
Route to TTP Silver card -
You must complete Protective Coatings Applicator AND
Abrasive Blast Cleaner
OR
Spray Painter
training.
Route to TTP Gold card -
You must complete Protective Coatings Applicator AND
Abrasive Blast Cleaner AND
Spray Painter training.
Please Note
Upon successful completion of the Train The Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator modules, delegates will be awarded with a Silver TTP card.
To be granted the Silver TTP card delegates must have worked in the protective coatings industry for more than 1600 hours, successfully completed the Protective Coatings Applicator and Abrasive Blast Cleaner or Spray Painter training.

TTP SILVER CARD COURSE INFO
- CERTIFICATE
- TTP Silver Card(>1600 hours) or Orange (<1600 hours) trainee card dependent on experience.
- A Course Certificate
will be issued on successful completion of the TTP course. Wallet Cards
will be issued by Train the Painter by Post. (allow 7 to 10 Days for Delivery)
