Gutter cleaning is one area of home maintenance that is often overlooked by homeowners and that can prove to be a very costly mistake. Full gutters will not do the job that they are intended for, which is to take the rain water away from your home. Instead of the gutters taking water away, if they are full of debris, they will in fact deliver this rain water directly into your home causing expensive water damage over time. 

Just like any other part of your home, your gutters and downpipes require regular care. 

We have our own top of the range gutter clearing vacuum system, made by the world leader SkyVac, which allows us to remove any manner of debris from your guttering safely from the ground, up to heights of 45ft without a ladder or scaffold. Not only is this method safer for our staff, it also protects your property too, preventing the need to place ladders on your garden lawns, or scaffolding against the walls of your home. In some cases, we may still use ladders when required, but do so carefully and only when its safe.

Our gutter vacuum system comes with a recordable CCTV camera which allows us to survey your guttering before and after the job. Which allows our technicians to ensure the gutters are free and clear, and this also allows us to let you, the customer, see the condition of your guttering at the same time, all from the safety of your front door.

We have invested heavily in a specialist carbon fibre 45ft long set of poles for our SkyVac vacuum, which allows us to take the unit, on a fully mobile trolley both front and rear of most properties. This is a real game-changer in the fact that it allows us to access guttering that is extremely hard to reach.  This has proven to be a fantastic way to access hard to reach sections of guttering and saves the need and extra cost required to erect scaffolding to get to these otherwise unreachable areas.

GUTTER CLEARING WITH ACCESS EQUIPMENT

In some cases, the gutter vacuum system may not be a viable option, and our rope access equipment must be used to clear your guttering out. We are highly experienced in using working at height access equipment, and will be able to provide you with an access solution whatever the challenge may be!

ROOFING MAINTAINECE AND REPAIRS

Pressure washing can cause damage to roof tiles and damages the surface of roof tiles thus reducing life expectancy. Once the moss is removed we offer a biocide treatment which over time kills off any remaining moss spores, algae and lichen.

The hand scrape option involves scraping off the Biofilms from your roof, such as moss, algae and lichen. We do this using a manual tool which allows us to scrape the roof with pre-cut blades, that are shaped to match your specific roof tile. There is no water used during this process, which means far less mess. The roof will be much improved once the surface has been scraped, but the surface will still look weathered at this point.

After this process has been completed, we will then apply a Biocide Treatment to the roof - to kill the Biofilms and to clean the surface over time.
